Permanent jewelry is jewelry that is custom-fitted around the wrist, ankle, neck, finger, or another approved area and closed by welding the ends of the chain together rather than using a traditional clasp.
The jewelry is not permanently attached to the body. The chain is welded to itself. The jewelry can be removed by cutting the chain with appropriate scissors or jewelry cutters.
